The computer is trying to shift the transmission from “Agitate” to “Spin,” but the Shifter Actuator isn’t moving, or its optical sensor is blind.

The Fix: The plastic gears inside the Shifter Actuator are stripped, or the optical sensor lens is dirty. Replacing the Shift Actuator is the standard fix.

HZ Step 1: Access the Bottom
